Introduction

Cards Against Backlogs is designed to be a lightweight, fun tool for sprint estimation. We believe in minimal data collection and maximum transparency.

Data We Collect

We do not require user accounts. When you use the app, we process the following:

• Room Data: Any information you enter in a room (voter names, card selections, and room names) is stored via InstantDB to facilitate real-time collaboration.
• Local Storage: We use your browser's local storage to remember if you were the creator of a room, ensuring you keep administrative permissions for that specific room on your device.

Third-Party Services

We use InstantDB for real-time data synchronization. By using this service, data you enter in the rooms is processed by InstantDB according to their own privacy standards. We also use Vercel for hosting and analytics.

Data Retention

Room data is stored until deleted or until the room becomes inactive. Since we don't have user accounts, we cannot easily associate this data with you personally.
